Dave BeckerExecutive Director
Dave is our Executive Director and runs the day-to-day operation of the camp, RV park, leaseholder community and retreat ministry. Dave came to us from Olivet Nazarene University where he served in the Graduate School. An ordained minister, Dave has been the lead pastor of several Nazarene congregations and enjoys staying connected with pastors and churches. He and Cathy have been married for 40 years and are blessed with two daughters, two sons-in-law, seven wonderful grandchildren and one spoiled Golden Retriever!
A longtime champion of Christian camping, Dave believes that the life of a child, teen or adult can be transformed forever by the renewing presence of God. What better place than at a Christian camp! dave@indianlake.camp |
Melissa FierroDirector of Guest Services and Marketing
Melissa Fierro joined the ILNC team in October 2018 all the way from Southern California. She received a degree in Cinema Media Arts from Biola University and has brought that along with previous camping ministry experience in San Diego, CA. She came here to follow God’s calling with a heart for serving in camping ministry.

Dan LewisDirector of Operations
Dan joined our team in 2014 with a long history and close ties to the Campground. He began attending Chapman Memorial as a young child and was a camp resident through most of his teenage years, with two of those Summers spent as part of the "Kitchen Crew". After some time away, Dan and his wife Patti returned to ILNC in 1999 to raise their children Emma, Olivia, and Elijah in our community.
With a variety of work history, two degrees in medical imaging and several years as a building contractor, Dan has a wide source of experiences to oversee the maintenance of our facilities and grounds. It is his pleasure to provide a memorable and pleasing environment for our guests. dan@indianlake.camp |
Richard HandDirector of Food Services
Richard’s background includes many years of food service management in restaurant, hotel and institutional settings. He has also served as a pastor on the Michigan District for sixteen years. Now, as Food Service Director, he is glad to be part of the Indian Lake team and looks forward each day to providing “better than expected” dining experiences for campers, residents and guests.
