Director of Operations:

Starts Immediately. Position is full time, year round, and salaried. Weekend availability is required.

The Director of Operations and Maintenance oversees the buildings, grounds, and general systems of the entire 260-acre property. He or she supervises part-time paid and volunteer workers in landscaping and maintenance duties. 

The Director of Operations reports to the Executive Director. He or she expected to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to coordinate with other team members, especially the Director of Guest Services.

Housekeeper:

Starts Immediately. From mid-April to late September, schedule is 20-35 hours per week, with fewer hours (15-20) during the off season. Weekend availability is required during the busy season, and applicant must be available to help turn over guest rooms between noon and 3 pm daily during the busiest periods of Family Camp in July.

Duties can include vacuuming, laundry, trash removal, and cleaning bathing and cooking areas in guest rooms, shower houses, and meeting spaces. Applicant must be able to lift 25-50 pounds. 

Housekeepers report to the Executive Director but work closely with the Director of Guest Relations. They are expected to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to demonstrate excellent time management and attention to detail. Housekeepers also need to show a friendly and service-oriented attitude towards our guests.

Dining Hall Manager:

Starts Immediately. From mid-May to early September, schedule is 40 hours per week, with fewer hours (20-30) during the off season. Weekend availability is required.

Duties will include supervising and assisting with preparation of Dining Hall meals for summer camps, retreats, and other events held at the camp, under the guidance of the Director of Food Service. Applicant will schedule and supervise food service workers, both paid and volunteer, and ensure that provided menu plans and food-safety standards are followed. 

The Dining Hall Manager must have (or obtain within two weeks of start date) ServSafe Food Manager certification and previous food-service and supervisory experience. 
Dining Hall Manager Position Description
Snack Bar Manager:

Starts May 1. From mid-May to early September, schedule is 40 hours per week. Work hours are mostly Thursday through Sunday late afternoon/evening with some additional weekday, holiday, and early afternoon hours.

Duties will include supervising and assisting with operation of the grill, ice cream counter, and camp store, under the guidance of the Director of Food Service. Applicant will schedule and supervise food service workers, both paid and volunteer, and ensure that food-safety standards are followed. 

The Snack Bar Manager must have (or obtain within two weeks of start date) ServSafe Food Manager certification and previous food-service and supervisory experience.

Starts May 15. Schedule is approximately 30 hours per week, mostly weekdays, with some weekend, holiday, early-morning, or early-evening hours required.

Duties will include assisting with preparation of Dining Hall meals for summer camps, retreats, and other events held at the camp, under the supervision of the Dining Hall Manager and Director of Food Service. Applicant will help supervise and train food service workers, both paid and volunteer, and ensure that provided menu plans and food-safety standards are followed. 

The Dining Hall Assistant Manager must have (or obtain within two weeks of start date) ServSafe Food Handler certification and previous food-service experience. 

Dining Hall Assistant Manager Position Description
Operations Assistant: 

Starts April 1, 2023. This is a seasonal, part-time position. Weekend work is occasionally required. Average weekly schedule of 25 hours, but can be more or less depending on candidate's availability. 

The Operations Assistant performs a variety of maintenance, repair, landscaping, and general-labor tasks as needed, under the supervision of the Director of Operations. Applicant must be able to lift 25-50 pounds and perform moderate physical labor, sometimes in hot outdoor conditions. 

Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction trades, or similar work is desirable but not required. Specific duties will vary depending on the applicant's skills and experience.

*closed every day from 12pm-1pm  for lunch
